The panel of judges reserves the right to disqualify any artworks to poor quality, incompleteness, poor taste, inappropriateness of content, or concerns copyright infringement in the original work. Copyright Law Any artwork that depicts copyrighted images will be rejected. For example, no artworks depicting characters from television shows, movies, video games, or books will be accepted. All artworks must be original ideas and created entirely by the student.

Studied fine arts majored in Interior Design at University of the East Caloocan City.  She owns a  studio – Yllang Artworks, an active book illustrator, designer, layout artist, writer and editor  registered with the National Book Development Board.  She is also the President of Batis AWARE (Association of Women in Action for Rights and Empowerment. She also founded Empowerment Through Art (E.T.A) and a member of KASIBULAN (Kababaihan para sa Bagong Sibol na Kamalayan) an all women artist’s organization of the Philippines.

Originally came from Seattle, Washington USA. He has a degree in Paralegal Studies and a career in Disability Law.  He is presently living in Manila together with his wife.  He loves to travel, enjoys photography and music. He looks forward to seeing all the beautiful artwork for this artwork campaign contest.  Go young artists!

Winning artworks shall become the properties of KAPITAN KABUTE and may be used for the use of advocacy and promotions materials.  Non-winning artworks can voluntarily donate it to Kapitan Kabute.
